Trick or Treat, Give Me Something Good to Read!

　　In order to arouse students’ interest in reading English stories and give them more opportunities of speaking in English, the school will organize a book talk.Our students are going to chat face-to-face with a local author who writes in English.Adrian Ho, a young talented detective storywriter, is going to meet our students.He is going to talk about his book, Peril After Halloween.The students can discuss with him the story, the inspirations behind it and the process of creating the story.In addition, they are going to dress up in Halloween costumes and have a spooky yet full-of-fun party with Mr. Ho.The details of the event are as follows:

Time:　　　　　　　1:30-3:10p.m.

Venues:　　　　　　The hall (talk) and the library (party)

Target students:　　　Primary 4 to 6

Remarks:

1.	Students need to read the book before attending the function.The books will be provided by the school.
2.	They may bring Halloween or angel costumes to school and change into the costumes before the function.
3.	They may also bring candy and snacks to the party.
