On Wednesday 16th March we held the English Fun Day. Many activities were held including a production of a musical called The Visitors, film viewings and game stalls.
The musical was a fantastic chance to see some of our drama students display their singing, dancing and acting skills live on stage. It was a treat watching their performance and it was a great listening exercise for the audience!
The film viewings were diverse and targeted at the appropriate level of the students. It was a great chance for them to see and hear authentic English.
The game stalls were an extension of our weekly English Day activities. Students used English to communicate while playing numerous games. All of the students tried their best to speak English so they could acquire enough chops to win a prize. There were lots of smiling faces queuing up to choose their new favourite toy!
The entire day was an extremely positive experience for the students; they were able to practise English in a more natural way, giving them a chance to have fun and enjoy the language outside of the classroom.
